Winston received his Masters in Education from U of M Flint and has been a business owner, teacher, mentor, and coach. His business experience includes working as a trader at the Chicago Board of Trade, running a meal delivery service in Chicago and starting, then eventually selling, a chain of retail stores in the midwest. His teaching experience includes working with students at an alternative high school in Flint and teaching middle school Social Studies. Winston is currently the men’s and women’s cross country coach at Mott Community College.

Chief Engagement Officer
Kelly Rodgers was born and raised in Flint, she went to Powers Catholic High school and later went on to graduate from Northwood University. Following her graduation she had a long and successful career in the automotive industry, starting her career at AC spark plug, and going on to later work for various major automotive manufacturers, managing dealerships.
In 2016 after realizing she wanted to get back to the basics in life, her faith, family, and being a catalyst for change in her community, she quit her job at Nissan, and came back to Flint where she was a board member for GearUp2Lead. In addition she became a volunteer mentor for eight months until being promoted to Chief Engagement Officer in late 2017.
