What is GearUp Academy?

GearUp Academy is a free virtual, self-paced, public high school program that offers optional in-person life and work skills sessions. GearUp provides opportunities for students to cultivate a growth mindset and develop the social and emotional skills needed to succeed.

Mission

We will help our students develop their abilities and fulfill their hopes and dreams, and do it in a way that benefits them as well as the community at large.   

The Academy:

1. Provides a free online high school education and diploma.

2. Provides an opportunity for credit recovery.

3. Encourages students to work and have lives outside of school.

4. Requires 18 credits to graduate.
