Parent & Guardian Workshops
Join our free, monthly workshops designed to help parents and guardians support their students in school and beyond. Each session features local experts, practical tips, and valuable resources you can use right away.
Thanks to our partnership with the Michigan College Access Network (MCAN) and Michigan Reconnect, we’re taking a two-generation approach—helping students succeed while also connecting parents and guardians to tuition-free or discounted college opportunities through the Reconnect program.

New Partnership!
We’re excited to launch a 6-week personal development workshop series for young men in partnership with Involved Dad, a local non-profit organization. This program is designed to help strengthen young men emotionally, mentally, and socially through weekly group discussions on leadership, resilience, and personal growth.
💥 Bonus Opportunity: Participants who attend the weekly workshops will also have the chance to help build our GEARUp Esports Team!
*Attendance in the workshops is required to be part of the E-Sports team. Learn more at gearupflint.com/student.
