Six Ways You can help a High School in your community

1.)  Visit us: One of the best ways you can help us is just by dropping by, whether you're interested in doing a brief talk about your experiences in business, art, or anything else relevant to our students, or you'd just like to see what we do on a day to day basis, we're always happy to have you in our space for a visit. 

2.) Be a Guest Speaker: We're always looking for people to do talks, workshops, etc. If you've got experience in business, art, or anything else relevant to our students that you're interested in sharing, contact us!

3.) Become a mentor: The backbone of our academy is our tutors and mentors, they help our students truly understand the concepts they're learning about, if you'd be interested in volunteering as a tutor or mentor on a regular basis, just fill out the form below and we'll get back to you ASAP. 

4.) Hire one of us: What makes GearUp Academy unique, is we try and build relationships with businesses in our community in order to get our students careers before they finish high school. If you're a local business owner interested in getting eager workers who are ready to learn, just let us know and we'll get in touch with you. 

5.) Donate: As a high school we are partially funded by the state, however without your continued support, we would not be able to continue to operate the Academy, so please consider donating.

6.) Share this video: Publicity is key, getting our name out there in the community enables us to more effectively reach students, build better relationships with local businesses, and helps us continue to do good in the Flint area.
